Essential environments for the preserve of macro remains in archaeological contexts

This paper present the essential conditions for the preserve of macro remain that we have found in archaeological contexts. These environments include the following situations:

burned carbonised remains;

vegetal imprints;

vegetal remains preserved in arid area, such as caves, tombs, pyramids or in temperate area within walls or in closed storage.

botanical remains preserved in wet conditions such as lakes and peat;

remains preserved because of metallic oxides of silver, copper, bronze and iron;
-
and finally, stoned remains, such as silicates and calcareous incrustation.
