Considerations concerning on a monetary tresure probable discovered in Mureş county
Autor: Claudiu Munteanu
A fragmentary roman coin hoard has been offered for sale in a antiquity shop in Sibiu. It is formed of ten coins dated in the second and third century. The whereabouts of its origin are unknown, beside the supposed place of discovery – Mureş county. It is impossible to say if those coins, together with the rest detained by the owner, are either a part of a not entirelly recovered hoard, or a part of an unknown hoard, perhaps a hoard itself.
