The paper presents the events from Deva, in the time and after the revolution from 1918, which were at the origin of Romanian National Council, as well as the Romanian National Guard. In the same time were elected the delegates for the Great National Assemblage of Alba Iulia, at 1^st of December 1918.

This paper is based on the memories of lawyer Dr. Victor Ioan Şuiaga, who was a direct participant at these events.
