Drugs of mineral origin in the collection of the Pharmacy History Museum of sibiu

This work is ment to illustrate the minerals utilization in scientific therapeutics on the base of drug substances and preparations used along three centuries. These are to be found in the collection of the Pharmacy History Museum of Sibiu.
The collection of mineral origin drugs has 274 pieces, that came from the old pharmacies in Sibiu as well as from other pharmacies of the country. It is important to mention that the primary source for the greatest part of the drugs were the pharmacies, the labs where the drugs were prepared as well as other purveyors from Austria and Germany.
